Jacqui Baggaley
BSc MRCPod MFPM RCPS(Glasg) DPodM HCPC Registered Podiatrist
I graduated from Queen Margaret University in 1986 with a BSc in Podiatric Medicine and initially worked abroad in private practice in Bermuda, then returned to the UK & joined the NHS where I worked in Biomechanics & MSK departments. I started my own Private Practice in 1996 as cut-backs in the NHS started to reduce the ability to provide the best treatments.
I love nothing more than helping patients become comfortable with all foot problems from routine care to returning to walking or sporting comfort after injury or chronic foot & leg problems. I participated in several sports myself at a high level e.g. triathlon, golf, swimming & various team sports and continue to support athletes from Olympians to weekend warriors competing in elite ski racing, running, triathlon from sprint to Ironman ultra-athletes and numerous other sports.
As well as continuing to play sport with my sporty family, I also enjoy supporting rugby, golf, tennis and many other sports and have an interest in injury prevention, working with physios and orthopaedic specialists.
CPD is continuous throughout my career and I have gained many additional qualifications e.g. numerous visits to various Biomechanics courses including the premier Biomechanics Summer School conference, steroid & injection therapies, manipulation & mobilisations, Swift verrucae treatment, Kinetic taping, acupuncture, laser therapy and use these evidenced modalities to help patients feel comfortable.
If it’s a painful, persistent, verrucae, a chronic ingrown toenail or painful corn or callus, I can resolve these issues and leave you with a cosmetically attractive and pain free foot or toe or verrucae free feet. I treat all types of foot problems and aim to improve all patient’s quality of life using routine treatments to more advanced custom casted prescription made orthotic insoles.
I am not a fan of off the shelf adapted insoles as they never really fit properly and therefore are never as effective as custom orthotics. If your feet or legs hurt, I will aim to help you feel better!
Enjoy a more comfortable life and never be embarrassed by your feet, there is always something that can be done!

Iqra Ahmed
Iqra graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2019 with an Honours degree in Podiatric Medicine. Upon graduating she started practice in private practice in Glasgow. Her major interests include nail surgery and diabetic footsore. In particular she loves helping people with painful feet, working her magic and ensuring patients feel the benefit of her treatment when they take their first steps out of the door. Outside of Podiatry, Iqra is a social girl who loves to catch up with her friends and family back in Glasgow and she is also quite the film buff. We are delighted Iqra has joined us at Trinity Podiatry Clinic following her marriage to her Edinburgh based husband.
